Terms and conditions

These terms cover adamcrum.com, adamcrum.com, and the other pages the campaign runs under the adamcrum.com name. Using the site means you accept them. Our privacy policy explains what we do with information you give us, and is part of these terms.

Using the site

Read it, quote it, argue with it, send it to people. What you cannot do is break into it, scrape it to build a mailing list, submit someone else’s information as your own, or use it to send anything unlawful.

Text messages

If you give us your cell number, you are agreeing to receive text messages from Adam Crum for Governor, including automated messages and including asks for money. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop them, and HELP for help.

We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers or text-message consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Contributions

Donations are processed by WinRed, on WinRed’s pages and under WinRed’s terms. When you give, you are confirming that:

• the money is your own, given from your own card or account, and nobody is reimbursing you for it;
• you are a United States citizen or a lawfully admitted permanent resident;
• you are not giving on behalf of a corporation or a labor union, both of which are barred from contributing to an Alaska candidate.

Contributions to a state candidate are not tax-deductible.

If you choose a recurring gift, you set the schedule on WinRed’s checkout screen and can cancel it there at any time. If a contribution was made in error, or in an amount you did not intend, write to us and we will look into a refund. Refunds are reported to APOC the same way contributions are.

Alaska law requires us to report contributions to the Alaska Public Offices Commission, and those reports are public. The privacy policy explains what appears in them.

Photos, video, and what’s on the page

The writing, photographs, video, and design on this site belong to the campaign or are used with permission. Share them, link to them, quote from them. Do not republish them wholesale as your own or use them in a way that suggests the campaign endorses something it does not.

At public campaign events we take photographs and video and use them in campaign material. Coming to an event is agreement to that. If you appear in something and would rather not, tell us and we will take it down.

Other people’s sites

We link to outside sites: the Division of Elections, news coverage, our vendors. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they do or say.

No warranty

We work to keep this site accurate and available, and we correct mistakes when we find them. Even so, the site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will always be up, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it. Election dates, deadlines, and voting procedures here are our best account of the rules. The Alaska Division of Elections is the authority, and if the two ever conflict, theirs governs.

Alaska law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alaska.

Changes

If we change these terms we change the date at the top.
